Request the Free Patterns! Please take a moment to complete this form. When you press the Send button below, you will automatically email your request for free patterns. Be sure to specify the format you desire from those listed below, and look for these files in your upcoming email. These files will be of an .exe format, so plan accordingly to allow their arrival. How to Use These Files: These are 2-color fairisle/jacquard files. With the additional archived 3- and 4-color jacquard stitch designs, review your machines' manuals before starting. Acquiring These Files: Select and save the file into a directory on your computer. The files are compressed and provided in an .exe format which will self-extract all the files when you "start" that file in the directory into which you placed it. Use can use your File/Run command to locate and execute this file. The .exe file contains files in Design (.pat) format. Adapt these designs to machine knitting, needlepoint, crochet, cross stitch, computer "wallpaper," or some other application you can think of. You may also transfer this file into cartridges or disk drive units for machine knitting and embroidery machine work. For Jacquard knitting: If you are using a punchcard machine to do jacquard fabrics, the cards will be quicker and easier to render, and you will be knitting in less time if you use a jacquard separation and a card creation program such as Rose's Knit's Mr. Card. Files of the .cut format type may appear to be in near black shades in programs such as Paint Shop Pro and Creation 6 or Creation 8 where no design will be apparent. You may make color substitutions by selecting any one color and replacing it with another until your combination is clearer and suitable. When loaded into your stitchery program, you'll want, additionally, to substitute each of the colors for those given to display them as you would like, but that's true of any pattern in any software, isn't it?
